Unified communications is a method of communication using a single device that allows users to send and receive calls, texts, and emails using a single account. It allows the user to be reachable at any time on any device, regardless of whether it is a mobile or desktop device. The user only needs to register once and then can log in to their account on any device.
What is Openfire?
Openfire is a free, open-source, cross-platform, instant messaging and presence service. Openfire provides users with an application that can be downloaded to their mobile devices and used on any platform that is supported.
